The first Christmas song that brings me to tears, is embedded here.
The second is this rendition by CeeLo Green that came to my attention as the song played over the closing credits of the movie “Son of God”, made from the TV series “The Bible”. I embed the official CeeLo Green version here as the audio is superior to this video’s (which also shows scenes and spoken audio from the TV series/movie).

May we all feel as I do every time I hear this song. The smallness, the powerlessness I feel, not being able to, like Mary, “kiss the face of God.” But it’s something to strive for, every. single. day.
